RTJ wraps up Bristol Dirt Nationals

On Friday afternoon, Ricky Thornton Jr. returned to Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tenn.) to compete in the final two rounds of the Bristol Dirt Nationals. With a third-place finish in his heat race pinning him 12th on the starting grid for the A-Main, Ricky faded three spots in the 50-lapper to finish 15th.

The following night, Thornton Jr. came in fifth in his heat before placing second in his B-Main. Starting the $50,000-to-win A-Main in 18th, Ricky was one of 12 cars that retired early from the 50-lap affair.
