Melee Brings Early End to Third Round of Wild West Shootout

The 15th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout continued for Ricky Thornton Jr. on Wednesday night at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Ariz.

After setting fast time in his qualifying group and picking up a heat race victory, Ricky was locked into the fourth starting position for the $5,000-to-win feature. Unfortunately, Thornton was involved in a tangle just six laps into the 30-lap affair that would bring his night to an early end.
